CIRCA5000 fees for GIAs and ISAs

For GIAs and ISAs CIRCA5000 charges:

  • Subscription Fee of £1 per month

  • Platform Fee of 0.5% p.a. of the balance of your account. This is collected monthly, based on 1/12th of 0.5% (around 0.04%) of your balance.

Both fees are taken from the cash allocation of your account on the 10th of each month, so the balance you see in the app will always be net of CIRCA5000 and external ETF fees.

If there isn't enough cash available to pay your fee, then we'll sell enough to clear the fee from your largest holding (the ETF in which you have the most shares).

Example of CIRCA5000 fees

If you had a balance of £5,000 in your account for 12 months, in your first year you would pay £37 (an average of £3.08 per month) in CIRCA5000 fees.

This example doesn't account for any gains or fluctuations of your investments.

Note: If you activated your account with TPS as your original custodian then your platform fee is only applicable on balances over £3,000 at the rate of 0.3% p.a.

There will be no charge for Personal Pension Transfers In. Where you initiate a Transfer Out of your Personal Pension and where that Transfer Out occurs within 12 months of one or more Transfer In to your Personal Pension you will be liable to pay £30 per Transfer In that occurred within the preceding 12 months. We shall be entitled to liquidate assets in your Platform Products in order to satisfy your liability for these fees before effecting any transfer out. We need to make this charge to cover the costs, usually absorbed by us, of the Transfers In.

Are there any other fees?

CIRCA5000 does not charge to buy/sell investments for you, open/close your account, or to top-up/withdraw from your account. We also don't charge to transfer an external account into your CIRCA5000 account or to transfer your CIRCA5000 account to another provider.

ETF managers do have their own fees, paid directly to them through your investment, rather than to CIRCA5000. Their fees can be found on the KIIDs (Key Investor Information Document) in your app. These aggregated external fees vary based on the portfolio you choose to invest in (People, Planet or Planet & People) and the risk level you choose (Adventurous, Balanced, Cautious), between 0.24-0.65% p.a.

What might my returns look like over 5 years with fees included?

The below table illustrates the cumulative effect of costs on return of a £10,000 investment in the Balanced allocation of the Planet & People portfolio, with an assumed net growth rate of 5.00% over 5 years in an ISA or GIA.

This figure is for illustrative purposes and is not indicative of typical past performance nor is it a prediction of future performance.

The actual performance of your account will depend on your portfolio choice, risk level and individual performance of the funds you select. NB that the Subscription Fee is fixed and so the service costs percentage may be higher or lower depending on the amount invested.
